About me and the fallacy of having an online presence:<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Normally, I dislike having an ego or, more appropriately put, an “id”.<\/p>\n

Unfortunately, we live in a world that is overwhelmingly online and our worth as human beings by a world of strangers is seemingly determined by how present we are in this pseudo-social strata.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Most internet social mediums, specifically places such as Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, Reddit, and any number of other comment-posting platforms obtain their value through the usage of user traffic and advertisement revenue. Your attention is their currency, where the longer you are engaged within their playground, the more they have to gain from it.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

That’s not my goal here. If anything, this is just my place of expression, to feel as if I do actually have a presence that does not directly fulfill the invisible norms we have established by spending our time and dictating our worth through a funnel that doesn’t even follow any rights or freedoms given unto us as living, breathing beings.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

I like art, I (eternally) study medicine to no professional avail of yet, and really enjoy giant monsters and dragons. If you would like to chat or have a meeting of the minds, then that’s what the bottom button is for; it will bring you to a page where you can contact me via my annoying large list of social accounts. I hope that we can use to chat about this ridiculous world that we find ourselves in with an everlasting effort to find some paltry form of meaning within it.<\/p>\n
